After having read a few quality reviews and having used merino wool gear for years while hiking, I’ve recently decided to jump head first in to a full set of First Lite camo. Now I haven’t bought everything just yet, but one thing I have noticed: the Springer Vest seems to run large. I experienced this myself when I donned an XL right from the bag and I thought I might need a life vest in order to navigate it, and I’ve read no fewer than three separate reviews which note a similar trend.
So if you’ve made the decision to get in to First Lite, Take Note! If you go with the Springer Vest, you might want to order a size down.
